About Watertight Home Service

We are licensed electrical and irrigation contractors in Guelph, Ontario, specializing in commercial and residential projects. We began operations in 2000.

Our founder, Neil Whitehall, apprenticed at Henry Birks and Sons, in Montreal, where the focus was on high-end customer service. He then moved onto the Canadian Centre for Architecture to learn about energy-efficient landscape lighting, which today he uses for irrigation projects.

Our irrigation services include new installations, retrofitting existing systems, and servicing existing systems. We also offer electrical services, including panel upgrades, renovations, additions, and backup generators for our esteemed clients.

We serve clients across Kitchener, Cambridge, Waterloo, and the surrounding areas. Our business hours are 08:00 am to 05:00 pm, and we also operate a 24/7 emergency service for existing clients, where we are willing to travel up to a hundred kilometers from our shop.

One of our most significant achievements has been receiving a Water Smart award from Toro Irrigation for a shopping mall which we installed with a highly efficient watering system. Energy efficiency fits with our long term vision, which made us proud to receive the accolade.

Our dream for the future is to stay open-minded and always willing to learn new things so that we can continue to offer our clients the latest trends. Therefore, It’s rewarding to retain clients and upgrade projects with new technologies that were initially done twenty years ago.

While we are passionate about what we do, we also care about protecting the planet, so we reuse items whenever possible and recycle responsibly. Our goal is to be conscious of the environment and commit to green practices.
